SHAUKAT E. MURAD FCA
Shaukat Murad qualified as a chartered accountant in 1978 and worked for Price Waterhouse (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) in London in their audit practice and the management consultancy firm where he specialised in computer auditing and systems support.
He left the profession in 1981 and spent nine years working for some of the most prestigious organisations within the offshore banking industry in Bermuda, Guernsey, Luxembourg and London where he gained an expert knowledge of the offshore financial services industry. His more specific roles were finance related where he managed the finance, back office and operational aspects of one of the largest banks in the world.
In 1990 he acquired the firm JOHNSONS and has since been developing the Firm's consultancy and offshore services alongside its more traditional audit and general practice services. JOHNSONS is now recognised as leaders in offshore tax and trust planning. In 1994, the firm opened an office in the Isle of Man to service its growing offshore business with a further office in Dubai in 2007 to manage the growth in offshore related business. All offshore planning is carried out in conjunction with specialists from the Isle of Man and Dubai offices.
At JOHNSONS, he specialises in offshore planning and general consultancy services. He has an acknowledged expertise within the music industry and acts for three of the largest royalty collection societies in the business as their consultant and royalty auditor. He brings with him a unique experience within commerce, the financial community, coupled with offshore planning and general consultancy and support services.
