Shaukat E. Murad FCA

Shaukat Murad qualified as a chartered accountant in 1978 and worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in London in their audit practice and the management consultancy firm where he specialised in computer auditing and systems support.

He left the profession in 1981 and spent nine years working for some of the most prestigious organisations within the offshore banking industry in Bermuda, Guernsey, Luxembourg and London where he gained specialist knowledge of the offshore financial services industry.

In 1990 he acquired the Firm of JOHNSONS and has since been developing the Firm's offshore services alongside its more traditional general practice services. The Firm has particular expertise in offshore tax and trust planning.

In 1994 it opened an affilate office in the Isle of Man to service its growing international business and in 2007 opened an office in Dubai. All planning is carried out in conjunction with corporate and trust service specialists based in the Isle of Man and Dubai offices.
